A-Carousing

The brooch was first inspired by a broken beer bottle top which recalled the numerous Dutch paintings discussing the evils of drink.
The watercolor image is appropriated from a painting by Anriaen Van Ostade "Peasants at an Inn" showing peasants drinking.
